Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using InvestApps.in and its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, which form part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

InvestApps.in (“InvestApps”, “we”, “us”) is operated as a sole proprietorship of Jijesh Janardhanan, an individual resident in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You must be 18 or older and able to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. What InvestApps is

InvestApps is a suite of three local-first personal finance tools:

• Retirement Planner — corpus projection, bucket withdrawal strategies, sequence-of-returns and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Investment Tracker — import CAS, broker and bond statements; per-folio XIRR; goals, rebalancing and capital-gains estimates.
• Goal Planner — a free goal and SIP calculator.

Your financial data is processed and stored entirely within your browser. Statements are parsed in the browser tab, and your portfolio is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and kept in your browser's local database. We operate no database of your holdings, plans or asset values, and we cannot read them. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what we do and do not hold.

3. No financial advice

InvestApps is a tracking and calculation tool only. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations or portfolio management services, and we are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

• Every projection — XIRR, corpus, glide path, goal estimate, tax figure — is illustrative, is computed from assumptions you choose, and may not reflect actual returns.
• Past performance shown in the tools does not guarantee future results.
• Tax figures are indicative only and are not a tax opinion. Rules change; verify before acting.
• Consult a qualified adviser before making any investment decision.
• We are not liable for any financial loss or decision made on the basis of anything these tools display.

4. Your data, and who owns it

You own your data. We claim no ownership of any portfolio data, financial information or personal content you enter.

• Your portfolio stays on your device. We cannot access, view or retrieve your holdings, transactions, goals or plan inputs.
• Backups are yours. JSON backups, Excel exports and encrypted vault files are written to a location you choose. We keep no copy.
• We never sell, rent or share your personal information.
• Local storage can be lost. Clearing your browser data, a browser update, or a device failure can erase it. Keeping your own backups is your responsibility — every tool has an export, and the Tracker can auto-update an encrypted vault file for you.

5. Free and Premium

The core tools are free and need no subscription — importing CAS and broker statements, the portfolio dashboard, holdings, XIRR, SIP tracking, backup and export, and the whole Goal Planner. A subscription is never required to see your own money.

Premium unlocks the planning layer across all three apps: goals and glide paths, rebalancing, capital-gains and tax-impact analysis, and the Retirement Planner's Advanced Mode.

• ₹2,000 for 12 months, inclusive of all applicable taxes. We are not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged and no tax invoice is issued.
• It does not auto-renew. No payment instrument is stored and you will not be charged again. Access simply ends at the end of the term unless you choose to subscribe again.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-licensed payment aggregator. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Premium activates only on a verified payment.
• Cancel within 7 days for a full refund, no reason required — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• A subscription is for a single individual and is tied to your account. Sharing your login is not permitted and may result in access being suspended without refund.
• We may change pricing, with reasonable notice to existing subscribers. A price change never affects a term you have already paid for.

Founder access granted before 12 July 2026 continues free until 30 June 2027, on the terms under which it was given. The Founder offer is closed to new users.

6. Third-party services

The tools depend on the following third parties, each under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data.

Market data may be delayed or temporarily unavailable. Always verify against your fund house or broker before acting on a figure.

7. Acceptable use

• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and your device.
• You may not use the tools for any unlawful purpose.
• You may not copy, decompile or redistribute the Premium software, share your credentials, or attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any subscription or access-control mechanism.

We may suspend or withdraw access, without refund, where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.

8. Limitation of liability

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the tools — including any loss of data held in your browser. Our total liability is limited to the fee you paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may change or add features, and may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date, and material changes are notified by email. Continued use means acceptance.

10. Grievance redressal

If you have a complaint, email support@investapps.in. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.

11. Governing law and disputes

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
2. Before starting any proceedings, please raise the dispute with us in writing at support@investapps.in and allow 30 days for it to be resolved in good faith.
3. Any dispute not resolved that way shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
4. If you are a “consumer” under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, nothing in (c) removes your statutory right to approach a consumer forum, including one where you reside or work.
